Elys Roberts is the President and CEO of Ipsos Health in North America. Elys's background has prepared him well to execute effectively on the Ipsos Health vision – to improve client business outcomes by taking a commercially-oriented approach to marketing research. He brings 14 years experience in the healthcare sector managing brands and directing market research for brands on the client side and building and leading a fieldwork agency and a marketing research Strategic Business Unit on the full-service agency side.
Prior to Ipsos, he founded and served as Group President for Medefield America rapidly shaping it into the largest and most successful provider of global online physician fieldwork in the industry. Previously, he was head of Global Market Research Business Training at NOP Health (now GfK) and headed one the company's marketing research Strategic Business Units. Working client side, Elys spent seven years in Eli Lilly's Sales and Marketing leadership program in diverse roles including Market Research Manager, Marketing and District Sales Manager.
Elys is on the Board of the MRII, a not for profit partnered with the University of Georgia market research program. He is a contributing editor for their learning program the Principles of Marketing Research (Pharmaceutical) and is a regular presenter at industry conferences. He graduated with a B.A. (Hons.) summa cum laude, from Manchester University, England and a distinction from the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.
